Lungata is central indigenous Australian for Blue Tongue Lizard.

Lungata Records is our expansion from within the hub of Blue Tongue Management into the world Digital music distribution and promotion.

Established in 2009 by Catherine Swinton of Catalyst Public Relations and Darrel Baird of Blue Tongue Management whom have worked on many artists CD launches from the studio and art design to the final product in the hands of the music consumer therefore the label is a natural progression to offer our artists a one stop shop for all aspects of music business management and distribution.

Our Creed

Support and guide the artists we work for to reach their goals and in doing so help them reach financial stability within the industry all the while keeping their integrity intact.

We will endevour to teach longevity over short lived success and work together with the selected artists to achieve sustainable success.

We will continue to research all aspects of the digital revolution to ensure our artists cutting edge tools and networks for maximum reach across the globe and involve them in this process.

Distribute and promote high quality Australian rock music to the world and surrounding galaxy should man take music to the stars.

Last but by no means least, Lungata Records salute the Australian Aboriginal peoples, The traditional caretakers of this country for 40 000 years and whom now share the land with people from across the globe.
