“Lupa Luna” is het nieuwe project van Greet Garriau met Sam Van Ingelgem en all-round muzikant Geert Waegeman. Greet zocht na haar uitbundige avontuur met de groep "Fluxus", haar eigen weg en dit mondde uit in een muzikale reis naar haar eigen wereld. De verhalen van deze reis gaan over stadspoorten die diepe geheimen met zich mee dragen, de nachtmerries van vliegen en koningen, de zee, de stilte, de maan en de wolven…. Sam is de stuurman, en verzint nieuwe zeewetten op de basgitaar en Geert zorgt voor de goede wind vanuit het kraaiennest met viool en mandoline. De toon van deze tocht is intimistisch en warm vocaal. De voornamelijk Nederlandstalige liederen worden afgewisseld door pittige instrumentale stukken met weerhaakjes. Stevig in de folk en kleinkunst geworteld brengen zij u hun programma met als rode draad: afscheid en verandering met een glimlach. Zij presenteren u dan ook met trots hun eerste album: "Le ciel est au bout", vorig jaar in alle rust opgenomen en in eigen beheer geproduceerd.

Lupa Luna trio was founded in 2006. Greet Garriau played in the well known folkband Fluxus (see www.fluxusmusic.be) but she was looking for a band where she could sing her more intimate tunes.
The show this trio brings is an overseas-trip full of stories that bring alive city-gates which carry the secrets of those who pass trough it, nightmares of kings and flies, the sea, the silence, the moon and wolves...
On accordion and voice Greet finds a way to full fill these untamed fantasies. Sam holds the steering wheel and finds new sea routes on his bass. Fiddler and mandolin player Geert takes care of the wind that pushes this ship forward.
