So I decided that my HEROES list needed an update. Times have changed and so have my heroes.
Amalia Rodriguez So this woman….god damn this woman gave me my first breath. And now I strive to give back what she gave to me. I’ve hurt this woman more than any other person and I’ve never felt like more of a jackass than when that happened. She’s the one person that still keeps somewhat of faith in God and honestly, I need that. Mom…I love you more than anyone could ever love me. Forever and ever. update. mom...i love you. even thought i sometimes treat you like shit...i don't mean to. my life would mean nothing if i werent for what you did for me, everything you lost, everything you gained, everything that made you smile or cry....all just for me. And i'll never be able to repay you in my entire lifetime but damn it i'll try. Mommma i love you. <3
Well, this is Emmanuel Mata. Where could i begin telling you how much i adore this young man. He's now the big 18, extremely close to graduating from Waxahachie High School. He plans to enlist in the United States Marines to proudly serve his country. He's a Wind Ensemble baritone player as well as an All Region player. He's part of something huge in the band world, 3rd state Honor band and recently 8th state marching band. He's treasurer in TSA, participating in their Regionals competition coming up soon. He's a well rounded talented student with huge opportunities i hope he takes advantage of. I cannot begin to describe the level of pride and respect i hold for this one individual.
And now to begin with the mushy lovey dovey crap:] I've dated Manny for 10 months now, enjoying the experience from day 1. Our relationship has made me even stronger, spiritually. Our one year anniversary is on January 7, 2010. I call him Kermie, even though i know on the inside he probably despises it. He makes me smile when my temper gets the best of me. We're both EXTREMELY competitive in almost everything we do, which most of the times creates WWII arguments and fights. We've gone through a few rough patches throughout our relationship and we've gone through some absolutely mindblowing ones. I honestly do believe i'll spend the rest of my life with him after i enjoy my gold years as a college student and after he spends his time in service. I'd do just about everything to make him happy and he does just the same. Emmanuel Mata, my high schoool sweetheart and frankly, the love of my life, i love you <3
