I Lust to Dust nascono a Torino nei primi mesi del 2008, inizialmente come progetto destinato ad esibirsi in un'unica data al Fabrik di Moncalieri, in occasione di una serata tributo agli Him per la festa della donna.
Il successo strepitoso del concerto in questione, in termini di pubblico e di performance, ha convinto i membri della band, spinti dall'amore comune per la musica degli HIM, a continuare la loro avventura all'insegna del love metal, proponendo quindi un particolare tributo caratterizzato dalla presenza di due chitarristi che conferiscono un maggior impatto in sede live e una maggior fedeltà ai brani originali.
Tutti i componenti dei Lust to Dust hanno alle spalle una lunga esperienza in varie band dell'underground torinese e non solo (nella line up figurano membri ed ex membri di Tearsfall, Vampire Heart, MayDie, Terremoto, Infected, Lestat, Hatefable, ecc.). Il loro obiettivo è quello di portare in giro per l'Italia (e si spera presto anche all'estero) uno show il più fedele possibile a quello proposto dal gruppo finlandese.

Lust to Dust were born in Turin, in the beginning of 2008, as a "single show project". On the occasion of woman's day, they organised a HIM tribute Night at Fabrik, in Moncalieri (Turin).
The great success of that evening, due to a good performance and an ecstatic audience, persuaded the guys to go on with the band, pushed by their love for HIM and love metal. Lust to Dust decided to preserve a line up with two guitars, in order to be more powerful on stage and able to recreate the original sound of HIM's records.
All the guys of the band come from long experiences in several underground bands, like Tearsfall, Vampire Heart, MayDie, Terremoto, Infected, Lestat, Hatefable, ecc. Their purpose is to create a show as similar as possible to HIM ones, and take it across Italy (and hopefully other countries).
