Yay! Thanks! :-) We don't often play that one - really only bust it when it's an audience that will get it ;-) We had a ball... 'twas a fun night indeed! Next one is at the new Thornbury Theatre with Wendy Rule on Feb 7 - heop to see you there :-D cheers, N&N
Holla! Sorry for the slackness, one surly mermaid has been travelling Indonesia, relaxing after the single launch. We were so pleased with the show, our best eva - bummer you missed it!! The good news is I'm living uber close to Red Cross so I'll drop by with a single when I get back to Melbs. Hope everything's super-ace in Vicious town! xox S
That's right, we're playing a real rock show!!!!! 2 years ago a friend of ours took his own life and every year since we've thrown a benefit gig in his honour. What better way to pay respects than to rock a phat show.
All proceeds are being donated to suicide prevention (beyond blue) So this Friday September 28th be sure to be at The Tote in Collingwood for a monster night featuring: Mister Coffee, Sforzando, MDK and Mandal Ave. (feat members of Mr Coffee, Away From Now, MDK and My Trainwreck of a Life) This is a very good cause and one very close to our hearts, please, please come and show your support. If you go to one show this year make it this one.
thanks for coming out! i was sooooo hung over on sunday. sorry we had to put you through our traditional beating up and tackling of each other! i have bruises...
The Queen show was great. The lead singer did a fine Freddie Mercury both in voice and stage performance. Only complaint - perhaps the sound was a little loud and sometimes distorted or maybe it's just my ears when the sound gets to a certain decibel. They also did 'Under Pressure' which was very good.
My party IS in the US! Come on don't be a spoilsport whats a little fingerprint! You can get to New York with public transport I think! AND they've even got rid of Zone 3 so the ticket will be even cheaper...
