A banda LUSTFUL confirma o falecimento do guitarrista Fernando Fernandes.
O músico sofreu um acidente de carro na madrugada de sábado (20 de junho) e não resistiu aos ferimentos. Fernando morreu aos 34 anos.
O LUSTFUL agradece a todos pelo apoio neste momento difícil.

Original de Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, o LUSTFUL foi formado em 1991. Após vários shows e o registro de três demo-tapes - Pray To The Lustful God (1992), Heaven Burns (1993) e No
Sense (1994) - a banda assina com a Cogumelo Records e, em 1995, lança seu debut album: The Almighty Facets. Em 2001 o LUSTFUL faz parte a coletânea “Tribute to Sarcófago” com uma
versão para o clássico “Nightmare”, lançado também pela Cogumelo. Além de Freddy De Marco (G) e Rodrigo de Carya (V), ambos da formação original, a atual line up conta com Fernando
Fernandes (G - 2005), Márcio Siqueira (D - 2007) e Andrews Cross (B - 2008).
Com uma ideologia sexista e explícita a banda traz em sua bagagem quase duas décadas de underground e executa um dos mais altos níveis de profanação sonora, aliando a brutalidade e
crueldade do Death Metal oitentista com a técnica e velocidade do metal extremo dos anos noventa.
Em dezembro de 2007 o LUSTFUL lança seu mais novo álbum: PROFANE.
PROFANE é um álbum polêmico e ousado. Sua temática questiona os atos religiosos da humanidade e a ignorância das pessoas ao abraçarem crenças fascistas e milionárias impostas pelas
igrejas. A blasfêmia e a revolta pelo genocídio mental vendido pelo domínio religioso, com todas as suas sandices e dogmas, fazem de PROFANE um álbum obscuro e pervertido, com
inclusões sarcásticas e severas no mundo da luxúria e demência da dita moralista humanidade. Pela crueldade, ousadia e realismo de seu conteúdo, PROFANE foi concebido para mostrar a verdade, mesmo que esta faça tremer até o mais santo
cristão puritano.

The band LUSTFUL was formed in 1991, in Belo Horizonte, state capital of Minas Gerais (Brazil). After some gigs and three demo tapes - Pray To The Lustful God (1992); Heaven Burns (1993);
No Sense (1994) - the band signed with the label Cogumelo Records and released its first album in 1995: “The Almighty Facets”. In 2001, LUSTFUL recorded the classic "Nightmare" to the “Tribute to Sarcófago”. With the band founders Freddy De Marco (G) and Rodrigo de Carya (V), the band has in its cast Fernando Fernades (G - 2005), Márcio Siqueira (D -
2007) and Andrews Cross (B - 2008). With a sexist and explicit ideology the band has a history that covers almost two decades of underground music and execute one of the highest levels of sonic desecration, blending the
brutality and cruelty of the 80's Death Metal with the techniques and speed of the extreme 90's Metal.
In December 2007, LUSTFUL releases its newest album, PROFANE.
PROFANE is a controversial and bold album. Its themes question the religious acts of humanity and the ignorance of people when they hold fascist and millionaire beliefs imposed by the
churchs. PROFANE embraces the blasphemy and revolt against the mental genocide, sold by religious power, with all its madness and dogmas. PROFANE is an obscure and perverted album,
with sarcastic and severe incursions into the world of lust and insanity of the so called moralistic humanity. For the cruelty, courage and realism of its content, PROFANE was conceived to show the truth, even if it shatters the most pure saint
Christian.
