The "Reverence" MCD is cancelled cause I wasn't satisfied with the result. There will be another MCD named "Welcome Winter" with completely new songs, released by De Tenebrarum Principio in November, just as planned. I can easily say that this will be the most beautiful and powerful work by Lustre so far.

I believe it's time for some news/updates...
The upcoming full-length album called "A Glimpse of Glory" is finished and supposed to be released in February 2010 by De Tenebrarum Principio. I'm currently recording an MCD called "Reverence" which hopefully will be released in November 2009 by De Tenebrarum Principio, and at the same time they'll print a T-Shirt together with this MCD. That's all for now...

For nine days and nine nights, Odin hung in the world tree, Yggdrasil, pierced by his own spear, by his own will. He experienced great pain. He made a sacrifice, to gain wisdom and knowledge. Shouldn't we learn from this? We, who are afraid of everything, so afraid that we eventually has to shut ourselves off, emotionally, in order to carry on. Personally, I have more or less never even tried to shut off, mostly because I don't even know how to do, but also because I wouldn't allow myself to do so, it wouldn't feel natural to me. Because of this, I absolutely don't see myself as a greater being, and I don't blame those who react this way, cause for some it's of vital importance in order to survive. A so called "Defence Mechanism". However, my point with this small statement is that I want it to be a reminder, for you who are still emotionally alive and able to change, because emotions is a great part of the concept of Lustre. Hiding in the shadows of our own lives must be the greatest lack of self-respect.
