Carlos Muhammad
Co-Founder of Luv4Self
Director of Luv4Self Conference
Carlos Muhammad was born and raised in Niagara Falls, New York. He attended undergrad and graduate school at Buffalo State
College in Buffalo, New York. During his college years, Muhammad became an advocate for change. He used his weekly school
newspaper column and leadership positions in student and community organizations as vehicles to convey messages concerning
Black People and humanity.
Muhammad’s increasing frustration at the many injustices and lack of self-love, respect and knowledge within the Black
community served as a catalyst for the book he wrote and published in 2004 called Caressed Spirits. This book won
him the honor of BEST SELF PUBLISHED AUTHOR in 2005 in THE BALTIMORE CITY PAPER. Carlos Muhammad later went on to co-create
and moderate what is now known as THE LUV4SELF NETWORK-
which is responsible for creating such national movements as TURN OFF CHANNEL ZERO as well as the upcoming Luv4self National
Conference.
Carlos Muhammad has lectured and delivered poetry on various college campuses and venues throughout Buffalo and surrounding
New York areas, the Baltimore/DC area and Philadelphia. Muhammad presently resides in Baltimore where he serves as an
educator to middle school, high school and college students.

Luv4self is a way for others to network and promote their businesses, events and ideas as well as engage in stimulating discussions.
The Luv4Self Network Group was created as a forum for members to communicate and express their thoughts and issues regarding material published by Luv4self Publishing. It is also a way for members to receive updates on events, new releases, and fundraising activities from Luv4Self Publishing.
Luv4Self encourages members to advertise, promote and make the other members aware of business ventures and opportunities as well. Our members strongly feel that it is our duty and obligation to support one another.....for supporting our sister and our brother is supporting our Self.
We recognize that all of our members have a desire to "Do For Self" and We acknowledge the diversity of our members and the many paths' that they have chosen. So, Whatever your respective field may be, our goal as Luv4Self Members is to assist and support one another, for we recognize that only we can have Luv4self.
LUV4SELF is not an individual concept, but an
understanding that the self transcends the physical self, and extends to the collective self, which is all of us.
We are looking to connect with all those who have a desire to uplift and promote positivity with LUV4SELF in mind.
