About me:

Maniac? Me? Yes, I must admit I have been called that more than once in my live. And I can not totally rule out that I am indeed a complete weirdow but in a positive way, I would like to add.

My life mainly revolves around music, the pinnacle beeing my bandRozencrantz and the new band Sexlord, which will premiere in October 2009. Beside being the bassplayer for ROZ and the guitar player to Sexlord, I also write lyrics and compose songs, mostly in teamwork with other band members.

A few years back we as a collective of artists decided to widen our horizon and liberate ourselves from the need to book a studio all the time by founding our own "StarShipStudio", which is mainly run by me when it comes to the technical aspects. In early 2008 we have moved the studio into new rooms.
And even though I earn my living maily from being a programmer and grahics design freak, there is other ways to spend my time. I worked as an A&R and Promoter for a couple companies in Germany . I am also the creator and the webmaster of the German music magazine Schwarze Seiten.

Enough about what I do, and more about what I think. Judging from my experience the only thing ever that matters in your live is people. Of course the first few that come to your mind are your family and friends, and there is no doubt that these are the most important ones, but touching people's souls is a wish that expands much further. I am intrigued by the possibilties that art and music offer. Creating the one little thing that makes somebody's day just a little bit special fills me with pride and gives my existence a meaning. I want to reach out and pick the crowd up! Hopefully someday I will have a chance to make your day just a little special.
