A Northern California native, Land has not only traversed the country's wildest areas but has brought them to life in her personal and descriptive songwriting. Both heartbreaking and hopeful Land's lyrics speak to the listener on many levels. Moody and intelligent, simple and poignant, stripped down production leaves the strongest aspects of her work exposed in the very best way. Currently Lux has two albums available. Made of Murmurs, produced by Tim Bluhm and released in 2004, Murmurs is a 6 song EP. Her most recent release is entitled Summer Hours(2007) also produced by Tim Bluhm.
