I LOVE to eat. My appetite is a local legend (there are owners of local all you can eat restaurants who are seeing therapists because of me-LOL! I've actually have been banned by one such restaurant-well, their sign DID say "all-you-can-eat"...) My all-time record of plates of food consumed at an all-you-can-eat buffet in one visit; 9 plates. My buddy said I must have a tapeworm and two hollow legs because I never seem to gain too much weight. I work hard, running up and down stairs and carry heavy things around all day so maybe that's why nothing sticks to me. Whatever is super tasty, I can eat it in vast quantities.

However, I can't eat eggs or any kind of seafood. I get REALLY sick just by the smell of either. Plus I am also allergic to both.

I love writing, eating, reading, music, parties, computers, the internet, radio, alternative culture, Buddhism and Wicca.

I'm a known incense and candle freak (Fire Permit No. #911-O-FCK-ME), I LOVE eBay (I like looking for cool, exotic and unusual conversation pieces.) I used to play cello in school, I may even take it up again. I chew ginger the way other people chew gum.

I'm trying to quit smoking cigarettes before my voice becomes the next Lucille Ball soundtrack.

And Cojimar sugar-tipped cigars (coconut and mango are my faves.)

As I'm writing on my computer, I'm also usually surfing for new and undiscovered online radio stations (especially in places in the world that I would have otherwise thought were still using cans and string for communication like Burkina-Faso (where the hell is that anyway?), Mongolia, Greenland, Laos, Kahzakstan, etc.

    SaveNetRadio.org

Net radio is too precious to lose. Join the fight to save it!

I'm learning to write in Sanskrit and Thai/Lao (their letterings are some of the most beautiful writing I have ever seen.)

I also collect classic vinyl albums and I'm hopelessly addicted to Indian cuisine (chicken tandoori...MMMMM!) I also love Drumstick ice cream cones, Reece's Peanut Butter Cups, (I'm a hopeless peanut butter junkie.) If I'm just cooking for myself, I like to keep it as simple as possible - right down to paper plates and plastic forks. It's the bachelor way....

Ever play Sittuyin? It's Burmese chess-still looking on eBay or somewhere for a complete antique board/table and pieces. They would look so cool in my place.

For a more in depth look at my madness, view the My Favourite Things photo album.

As for my own pictures, I personally am not much of a photogenic person so I generally don't like having my picture taken for any reason unless I'm at gunpoint.

I also act in community theatre. The Citreon 2CV is simply the greatest car ever made! (I drove one for two years and I want to buy another!)

  • Music

There's something in almost every genre I like from almost every artist. It's hard to narrow it down to anything specific.

I like Asian pop, Top 40, rock, punk, heavy metal, alternative, techno, blues, reggae, classic R&B/soul, classical, some country and jazz. I'm not really into Christian music, except for black gospel ("Contemporary Christian" music is a joke. I'm not much of a hip-hop fan either - that "gangsta" garbage just nauseates me.) Whatever I'm in the mood for.

I could find something like an old, but playable cassette of Cambodian rock-n-roll from the '60s at an Asian flea market and it would send me on a quest to learn more. Or hear a radio station from abroad online and then look up a song that catches my ear. Music is my blood.

My favourite Beatle: George Harrison (although I admired John Lennon.)

I like oldies and classic rock, but not too much. I listen to a lot of newer underground and local music and international pop. I like to explore the indie music blogs and see what's out there that hasn't been played into the ground by the mainstream media already.

About me:

I am a carbon based bi-pedal life form (as long as the humans on this weird planet assume me to be human too, my secret is safe) residing somewhere on planet Earth.

I'm 40 (going on 20.) I'm 5'10", 200 lbs., dishwater blonde hair, blue eyes.

I used to work in radio and journalism (I still free-lance in both occasionally.) These days I work in property management.

I've had experience in just about everything. Problem is, I never really figured out what to do with my life yet. Even after all these years.

But maybe living life as an unchained free spirit with nothing really to tie me down has kept countless doors open for me that so many of my friends in high school only wish were still open for them.
