Lions World Services for the Blind is a non-profit rehabilitation and vocational training center in Little Rock, Arkansas, that serves blind and visually impaired adults from all over the world. Since we opened our doors in 1947, we have served almost 10,000 people from all 50 states and 58 countries!
OUR MISSION: To enable people who are blind or visually impaired to function independently in today's sighted society and to live full, productive lives with dignity and self respect.
We offer comprehensive personal adjustment to blindness training, individualized and group counseling, orientation and mobility training, career counseling, and 14 vocational programs, ranging from computer programming and network administration to horticulture, massage therapy, and small engine repair.

"Try to imagine how you would feel if you were suddenly stricken blind today. Picture yourself stumbling and groping at noonday as in the night; your work, your independence gone. In that dark world, wouldn't you be glad if a friend took you by the hand and said, 'Come with me and I will teach you how to do some of the things you used to do when you could see.' " -- Helen Keller
