Lycanthrophy started to play in the middle of 1998, after some changes in the line up did recording for the first demo. First gigs, practise new more fast songs which was used for split tape with DICKLESS TRACY (Slovenia) released by Project Prods. All the songs from this tape were re - recorded with better and more powerful sound and released by ECLIPSE RECS. (Japan) as split CD with HUMAN ERROR (Hungary). Our side is typical mince core grind core influenced by AGATHOCLES. We still wanted to play more and more brutal old school grindcore style and finally we recorded lots of songs for split cass with NENÍ UNIKU (CZ) released by Insane Society Recs. Our side called "Sentenced" is raw and fast grindcore in the vein of WARSORE mixed by extreme HC like DESPISE YOU. Maybe our best stuff from this period. Then many many gigs and
debut EP as well. Stuff called "Repeat of mistakes" was released as split EP with NESOUCAST STROJE (Czech Power violence) in the cooperation with 15 labels all around the Europe. Followed period our band was very hard, two founder members (drummer and guitarist) left the band suddenly. But fortunately we filled line up with new members who joined band and this is our the strongest line up ever! Then started to play very lots of gigs also in abroad as well in Czech, did recording for split EP with MALIGNANT TUMOUR (Czech) and brandnew split EP with GRIDE. We are playing more straightforward fastcore hell mixed with power violence and little bit grindcore with total screamin.. female vocal.
We did great European tour with our friends with SAYWHY? (CZ fastcore) in 2007 (UK, Belgium, Holland, Germany). For this tour was released split Lycanthrophy/Saywhy? as digi CD and mainly 12" LP. We decided to not play a gigs in near future and concentrate for a new songs for several split..s records in 2008. There are plans for European tour 2008 again with SAYWHY? and in the future tour to Canada ...in April 2008 we..ll celebrating 10 years of existence ...

recording for a new set of releases called the "Persona Series". These
cassettes will be commissioned works (not by content, but by payment)
for individuals. If John Smith in London, England wants his own Zebulon
Kosted album, I will make a 45 minute album (one side of a 90 minute
tape), 2 hand drawn mini posters, I will name the album after him
(Zebulon Kosted - John Smith), and the fan will retain all rights to
the recording (for use of any future release, sampling, or broadcasting
rights). One copy of the album will remain in my personal collection,
and one will be sent to the customer, so that the only copy that will
be in circulation will be John Smiths copy! Each album is available for
the ridiculously low price of $10 (not including shipping), and will be
shipped in its completed form no later than 6 weeks from the date of
purchase!!!
