Singer/Songerwriter Lydia is a 26 Year old German born Aussie, with a mixed heritage including African American, Hungarian & Polish. Coming from a close family unit of 4, lydia learned early on in life,and with the inspiration of musical parents that music is her life.
Lydia started singing at the age of 4, singing songs her father wrote and the rest as they say is "her"story!
Knowing only the German Language and coming to Australia at the age of 8, Lydia learned english in the only way she knew how... and that was through song...
Writing her fist song at the ripe old age of 8 helped her understand more about the english lanuage.

LYDIA DENKER made a spectacular entrance on to the music and entertainment scene five years ago when she made a guest appearance on the first series of 'Big Brother'. Then re-woking and releasing the song One Perfect Day, from the motion picture of the same name. Her new sound is a fusion of melody, emotion and bone-crunching riffs proving that at twenty five years of age, Denker has never been more determined and ready to move forward fearlessly. Fear is not in Denker's vocabulary, and performing in front of an audience of more than 1.5 million viewers recently on 'Australian Idol' as a finalist in the 'Top 24 Show', proved just that. While her idol journey ended prematurely, the hunger for more from the public was evident with an outcry in forums across the country to 'Save Lydia' and 'Bring her back' Four songs that feature in Jesus Cant Skate, are written and produced by Lydia Denker, Alex Farrugia & Rick Rui.

You have surely heard about the tragic death of a brave young woman who was murdered in Iran just for peacefully protesting with her father on the streets of Teheran.
