Lykaion formed in 2000, by the remaining members of another band called Creepy Shadow and after many vicissitudes and many line-up changes, a stable formation was found in 2004, composed by Luca Mazzilli at the vocal, Fabio Valentini and Alessandro Sforza at the guitars, Valerio Miseferi at the bass and Andrea Alberati at the drums. In January 2005 Lykaion recorded the promo Behinda whisper, that was valued by the critics in a positive way and promoted through many concerts, both in Rome and other places. At the end of 2005 Luca Mazzilli suddently decided to leave the band, so Lykaion started to look for another singer, until they meet Tiziana Palmieri in 2006. The great vocal versatily of Tiziana allows the band to develop the aggressive parts and to create persuasive melodies. At the same time the sound of the band evolves, it becomes more personal and it gets a more progressive modern sound, open both to extreme sonority (Nevermore, Opeth, Katatonia, Killswitch Engage) and to different ones, unrelelated to metal (last Anathema). In may 2006 Lykaion recorded the new promo The things Ive left, a more accurate work than the others, in the 16th Cellar Studios. In February 2008 Tiziana Palmieri leaves the band because of some personal divergences. After months of searches Lykaion found a new singer, Romilda Alfano, who leaves the band in july 2009, now Alessandro Sforza (the guitar player) is the vox of the band. At the moment Lykaion are promoting their last work, performing in the main clubs of Rome and of Italy, and they are looking for a recording contract.

Doom will never die, DOOMRAISER too! Dopo l’uscita del secondo album Erasing the Remembrance ed il successivo tour europeo ed alcuni festival, annunciamo con molto dispiacere la decisione di Valerio di lasciare la band. Molestius preferisce continuare concentrandosi su altri progetti e sulla propria vita privata. Gli auguriamo tutto il bene possibile, perché nel corso del tempo è stato parte integrante dei DOOMRAISER, un fratello e un grande chitarrista. Che ha contribuito a rendere questa realtà ciò che è oggi.
Tuttavia, per una porta che si chiude, ce n’è un’altra che si apre. È con grande piacere che annunciamo l’entrata nella band di Willer. Da sempre sesto uomo della band, già conosciuto per la precedente esperienza nei Grimness e per il progetto Black Land che porta avanti da anni. Le prove con lui ci hanno meravigliato ed il feeling nel gruppo è scattato subito. Il suo talento alla chitarra contribuirà a dare una nuova dimensione, ancora più oscura e acida, al suono degli heavy drunken doomster.
La prima esibizione con Willer è fissata per il 21 novembre al Sinister Noise Club di Roma: occasione speciale perché festeggeremo il compleanno di uno dei locali più importanti della scena rock underground italiana e estera.

Doom will never die, DOOMRAISER too! As one door closes, another opens. Valerio has decided to leave the band; he wants to concentrate more on his other projects. We all wish Valerio the best of luck with his new vocation. He was, and remains, a formidable guitarist and was an integral part of DOOMRAISER.
However, it is with great pleasure that DOOMRAISER announce that Valerio’s replacement is to be none other than our good friend and brother, the fearsomely talented musician Willer
