LYLA are a five-piece rock and roll band from Adelaide. Scouted by PJ Murton (Hilltop Hoods), they were touted by Rip It Up Magazine as one of the ‘Hot Bands to Watch’ in 2010 and have been handpicked to showcase at some of Adelaide’s premier live venues and events, including Coopers Alive and the official relaunch of Rip It Up Magazine into the new decade.
Lyla have supported international and Australian touring artists such as Dave Larkin (Dallas Crane), The Checks (NZ), Cloud Control (2010 ARIA and J Award winners), Hungry Kids of Hungary, The Exploders, City Riots, Fire! Santa Rosa, Fire! and many more.
The band released their debut EP ‘Sitting In The Sun’ to a sold out crowd. When asked to describe the record, keyboardist Stefan Krcmarov said “It’s fucking huge!”
The band will be releasing the video for their first single ‘Get On’ later in the year.
