Ahh, such a difficult list to compile, don't want to leave anyone out though I know I will. My dad first and foremost (check out The Tone Kings' page, you'll understand why). Dan Boyden, Pete Genova, Billy Libby and the rest of the hometown crew, Donny Hathaway, Marvin Gaye, Al Green, Otis Redding, Stevie Wonder, Ray Lamontagne, Amos Lee, Carole King, James Taylor, D'Angelo, Erykah Badu, Anthony Hamilton, Bill Withers, India.Arie, Jill Scott... shit this is hard... Bob Marley, The Meters, Curtis Mayfield, Tower of Power, All those responsible for Mid-90's Hip/Hop and R&B (ahh that genre has a special place in my heart), Van Morrison, and Sam Cooke of course, The Beatles, Eva Cassidy, Jeff Buckley, Keb' Mo', Lauryn Hill, and I'm tired of typing so I'll let you guess at everyone else.
Channeling the essence of folk and the power of soul, Lyle Divinsky’s music brings an optimistic view to those fortunate, and unfortunate situations that we all experience. Hailing from Portland, Maine, Lyle was surrounded by music from an early age. Whether it was stealing his parent’s old records or singing along with his soul-singing father, it was clear that music was in his blood. While majoring in music at Skidmore College, Lyle was introduced to all realms of music: classical, jazz, and musics from all over the world, and these influences have shaped his music into something truly sincere and original. With a voice that silences a room and the organic honesty of his songwriting, Lyle’s music is sure to captivate any listener.

I wanted everyone to know how awesome a soul artist Lyle Divinsky is! He has this voice that reaches down deep within, to a place that for me hearkens me back to my roots in the Deep South, and in the Bayou swampland. He has such a grasp of his genre which could easily find him opening for Marc Cohn, Robbie Robertson, and Lyle Lovett. What amazes me even more about Divinsky is that he seems wise beyond his years, able to dig beneath his youth and exude the kind of soul that I've seen from the best of them, such as B.B. King, Barrence Whitfield, Sam Cooke, Ray Charles. Talent scouts are going to be all over him! Discover him now for yourself!
that seems strange that you were bought as a pet, although i can understand the confusion. you are in fact worthy of petting in a gentle way. a.)you need to come visit us and b.)you need a new photo. i want to see that sexy mug!
