   About Chris Lynch
Chris started playing as a solo performer when a friend (Hi, Kenn) who was running a college coffee house asked him to fill in when an act canceled. (notice that this is in the "third person" even though I'm the one who wrote it! What's with that?)______________________________________________________________________________ He was a member of the acoustic band Cuss Gutter and later, Friends, a band that did everything from acoustic rock & folk to country rock & 50s a cappella doo-wop. He went on to be one of the founding members of The Blue Lunch Band, adding 5-string banjo, lap steel & pedal steel guitar to his acoustic guitar & harmonica playing. "The Lunch Band" played venues in Connecticut, Massachusetts & Rhode Island. (Yeah, yeah! Big deal!)_______________________________________________________________________________ After a bit of a hiatus, Chris, with 6 &/or 12 string guitars & harmonicas, and a mix of cover & original tunes, has started playing solo once again at area venues. He opened Flamig Farm's 2006 "Eggstock" in West Simsbury, CT, reconnected with a "Lunch Band" alumnus to perform at the 2006 Brooklyn Fair and soloed at 2007's Sam Collins Day celebration in Canton, CT. (Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz)______________________________________________________________________

Thank you for being a friend!  Hope you will join us at our blog and also ask your friends to find out what the insurance companies don't want you to know! Single-Payer is the difference between TRUE Universal Health Care and phony schemes for private insurance companies to continue business as usual.

If you want REAL healthcare reform that will lower and control costs and affordable, comprehensive healthcare for ALL Americans - nobody out, everybody in. Take Action NOW! It's more important than ever.  Tell the White House and Congress to stop catering to the insurance industry middlemen who rob us of our healthcare dollars and add no value to healthcare and to support a Single Payer National Health Plan NOW!

Check for latest Action Alerts and links at our page.

Hey there,

Here's one from left field...

Ever wondered what to do in the event of a nuclear threat?

A while ago I found stuff that inspired me to make this film:

Living Under the Shadow of the Nuclear Umbrella

Both artistic (ensure you get the background music!) and educational, it primarily comprises official British government civil defence advice.

Though source materials are quite aged, much remains relevant today.

I encourage all to visit the YouTube page to learn more (Show support! Rate! Comment!) and responsibly circulate as widely as possible, here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UaIim3Rj7L4

Help to raise awareness.

Say have you checked out my web site recently?

Take care and keep in touch.

Best,
Faber.

A GIFT...PLEASE READ THIS:
Since some people in poor countries cannot read without prescription or reading glasses, for every song of ours you download, you will be supplying a pair of glasses to someone that needs them and will appreciate the gift of sight. Please consider downloading from here, two of our songs, and with your help, we can provide more people with the gift of sight.  Thank you.
