Lyndonunderground Studio Is a small digital Recording studio located in the basement of my home in Lyndonville VT. My set up is quite simple but produces very clear professional sounding recordings at the lowest cost around. All recording and mixing is done on my PC using the program Cubasis VST. I can also create Beats and Other Music with the programs Acid DJ & Fruity Loops. I use the Creative Audigy 2 sound card with a port that allows me to record 5 different sources simultaneously. I generally like to lay down individual tracks overdubbing each part. We can however record all or portions of the group Live with minimal or no overdubs depending on the size of the group and how creative we want to get with micing and pre mixing. I have 2 Nady large diaphragm microphones and an assortment of other good quality microphones by Sure, Peavey, EV, and Berringer. I have 2 external Mixing boards, an EV BK-832 and a Berringer Eurorack mx 200 4a. I have 2 Fender amps (a Blues Jr. Tube amp and a Princeton 65 solid state amp) available for use. I also have instruments available for use. Electric and acoustic guitars (Fender, Ibanez, Yamaha, Ovation), a Fender electric fretless bass, Yamaha DSR1000 keyboard, 5 String Banjo, congas, an assortment of percussion instruments and a Drum kit I refer to as the Frankenstein kit (Youll definitely want to bring your own kit but in a pinch mine will do). . I can act as both engineer and producer helping you to shape the sound of your songs or I can simply shut my mouth and let you have complete control of the production while I engineer the recording. My rates are charged on an hourly basis. The clock starts when you get here and stops at the end of the session after the files are rendered and the CDs are burned. You may bring your own blank CDs or I can provide CDs at $2.00 a piece. You may also want to back up the original track files on DVD or an external hard drive. I can provide DVDs at $4.00 a piece or you can bring your own blank DVDs or hard drive. I can send you home with Audio CDs and Data discs with your song as wav files or mp3s. Files can also be emailed to you. I can do cover design. I do not, however, print covers or mass produce finished albums. For that youll have to go elsewhere (I can point you in the right direction).................................................................... My rates are as follows: Vocal Overdubs on finished tracks you bring- $10.00 per hour, Voice and Guitar or Keys only- $10.00 per hour, Full Band Recording- $12.00 per hour, Use of My amps & instruments- add $3.00 per hour
