Lyndon Wesley - vocals, all guitars, banjo, electric mandolin, piano, VG8, percussion, flute stones Duffy Dowling - drums, percussion loop Duffy is one of my favourite drummers. He's what I call a songwriter's drummer. A man of integrity and dynamics who enjoys a decent brew of coffee. It's a shame he supports the Sydney Swans. We've all got our flaws. Matty Faulkner - keys, piano, hammond, backing vocals The professor. Matty is at his most comfortable behind a keyboard. He's like Robbie Williams on Red Bull and seriously now, he can sing too! Andy Naylor - bass, piano Anyone who knows Andy will testify to his mastery of music. He's like the unexpected hero. He's the Clark Kent of the music world. I thought him to be one of our finest bass players...then I heard him play guitar! C'mon Andy, rip out the cape and undies, you're musical Superman :-) Justin McLaren - bass, backing vocals I've been so fortunate to work with so many great musos. Justin is another guy who has an incredible ear (two ears in fact) and he is such a generous guy. Justin passionate about music? Now there's an understatement! Brad Evans - string arrangements & programming Brad came highly recommended and I've been so happy with his work. He's a top bloke and another of these ridiculously talented multi-instrumentalists. A coffee lover too, makes him even more special :-) Damian Outtrim - tambourine A good friend of mine. We hadn't seen each other since high school until recently. In fact Damian won a scholarship to the Victorian College of the Arts when he was 16 where he studied percussion. He is a smooth drummer and a closet wedding singer.

While The World Lay Sleeping is Lyndon's superb new offering and arguably his finest work to date. Sublime melodies ebb and flow against a sonic backdrop of guitars, drums, piano and strings. Lush and spacious, it's hard to imagine tiring of this mini-album. Mature, memorable songs that appear to be as instinctive as they are orchestrated. This record is an exciting new direction for Lyndon. 'While The World Lay Sleeping' really does show what an extraordinary songwriter Lyndon is.
"Six gorgeous, acoustic guitar-led (with full band accompaniment), dreamily sung pop songs that falls smack dab into the realm of artists like Neil Finn/Crowded House, Fran King, Tamas Wells, Elliott Smith, Arthur Yoria and David William! Featuring heavenly harmonies and lots of layered guitars! EXCELLENT!!!" Koolkatmusik
"Lyndon Wesley has two sons, Finn and Jet. His new mini-album, While The World Lay Sleeping, is more Finn than Jet. And this guy deserves the Crowded House comparison because this is classic pop songwriting. The disc grabs you from the opening line A broken man is what I am... But though some of the lyrics are downbeat, Lyndon is a melody master." Jeff Jenkins / Inpress
"The opening cut here, Happiness Is Falling Down, could be the best song that won't be a hit this year. It should be all over commercial radio but because this is an independent release, it will probably be met with a sea of ignorance. Wake up to Lyndon Wesley's pop charms!" musicaustraliaguide.com
"Best song on this six-tracker would have to be the beautiful upbeat 'A New Ceremony'...Lyndon Wesley looks set to make his mark." The Buzz
"Popboomerang has been very impressed with the new 6 track EP from local artist Lyndon Wesley. You can check him out at www.lyndonwesley.com but to our ears he is the perfect blend of acts such as Neil Finn & newer artists like Shane Nicholson" Popboomerang

Every so often a musician comes your way who stands out from the crowd. Lyndon Wesley is no exception. A distinctive Melbournian who continues to win enormous respect as a writer, performer and producer. After returning from an Australian tour in 1996 Lyndon ventured out as a solo performer. He has since won numerous songwriting awards, produced three albums and has played support to Australian music icons such as Ross Wilson, Mark Seymour and Don Walker.
