Bio
Lyndsay Pace, an outstanding, determined and versatile singer/song-writer who was born on the 12th March 1990 in the Maltese Islands. Her passion for music had always been evident from a very young age carrying her natural presence and self-confident abilities through each of her stage performances. She differs from the other acts in the local music industry by bringing about a certain aura, a professional one which incorporates stamina, excitement, attitude and pure energy. Her talents had been recognized clearly as she showed keen interest in the subjects of drama, dancing and singing thus taking up lessons before evolving her hobbies into more of a passion, quickly becoming a serious career. In fact, Lyndsay had been taking Speech Level Training for the past couple of years, from a number of professional tutors based in the United Kingdom. Amongst several competitions and activities of a local nature, her career in general mainly started with the renowned production company Where's Everybody with which she took courses such as the 'Starter Pack', 'Starter Pack Plus' and 'Media Teens' to mention a few. Each respective training programme helped her gain experience and confidence then later was offered the position for assisting production during live TV programs which was undoubtedly, yet another positive experience to be considered in her portfolio. However, Lyndsay is still emerging as an individual of many talents and will surely keep on growing successful within the media. In fact, she is currently working on a number of media relative projects, concentrating on learning more about the field before garnering a better grasp on the respective roles. In the past few years, Lyndsay's music career has been gradually taking shape managing to show her vocal capabilities through her participation in a variety of music events such as The Baystreet Star To B Talent Contest, the TV Competition 'Talent Zone', the 'Malta Academy of Performing Arts', the TV programme 'L-Isfida', The 'XFM Virtual Rockstar' Competition, the 'International Malta Hit Song Contest', the TV Reality Show 'Don't Stop Me Now' and The 'Vodafone Upcoming Artist' Competition were she managed to achieve positive results whilst giving her the boost that she thoroughly deserves. Apart from being an already successful solo artist, Lyndsay had been selected to be a part of Malta's first girl band known as 'Vieve' back in 2008 in an agreement with Silverscope music and XFM. The experience was a thrilling and exciting one as the artists were hand picked for such an opportunity. Having said that, Lynday had also been chosen as a resident singer on some of the most popular television shows in the past couple of years including 'Pjazza', 'Saturday Night', 'Ħadd Għalik' and 'Sibtek'. Lyndsay has been working extensively on her debut album which will merge pop with rock which will be expressing her emotions and feelings through the medium of music as she develops a repertoire of songs including some of her already released tracks which had topped the local charts such as 'System Overload', 'Zip It Up', 'Going Under', 'Love Sick' and her most recent 'Run Away'. Most of the tracks have been successful on the countries' leading number one hit music station; 89.7 Bay, but they have also gained credibility on other radio stations such as the Homegrown Top 10 on XFM 100.2, the Malta Music Charts Top 20 on Smash Radio 104.6FM and the Official Top 40 PRS Charts. In May 2010, Lyndsay had been selected to perform abroad on the Italian based TV show "Accademia" in Pozzallo, an entertainment programme involving young contestants competing and exposing their talents for one noble prize, thus being another positive experience for the artist's portfolio in consideration. In the beginning of the year 2011, Lyndsay made it to the final round of the competition 'Aiming 4 Fame Malta to Midem' compilation where her music had been presented in Cannes, France and showcased to major and independent record label executives, Music Television producers and other publishers from the music industry. This was quite a major step for her as an artist as garnering such exposure can aid to cement her career. In fact, this seems to be quite the beginning of an interesting road in which she will try to crack a number of nations' music scenes as it is such a solid platform. Apart from this Lyndsay has also been selected to perform at The Bedford in London, which happens to be one of the most prominent venues in the country. Such an opportunity does not come by often and she used it to perform a live acoustic set promoting her CD compilation thus far which had been launched earlier in the summer. The show in itself was streamed all over the world through a collaborative effort with the 'Aiming 4 Fame' project which she currently forms a part of helping her reach out to a wider audience whose horizons are broadened by talent. When it comes to the appreciation of the industry, it seems that Lyndsay has that one covered as well by virtue of being nominated for the Best Solo Artist, two years in a row at the Bay Music Awards in 2010 and 2011 apart from getting a nomination for the track 'Love Sick' which spent a number of weeks at number one on 89.7 Bay Radio. Following the same concept, Lyndsay had also impressed the music professionals which vote during the Malta Music Awards in 2011 whilst being nominated for Best Female Artist, which is aired on Television Malta (TVM), the leading station in broadcasting. The most achieving project she has worked on is of course the official Bay Kids Song entitled 'Reach Out' which featured a number of local disc jockeys including J Joy, Toby and Ian Lang and this was a track which also went straight up to number one on the local charts on 89.7 Bay Radio apart from making the chart even on ITunes where it was available following popular demand by the general crowd, whilst creating awareness for a good cause. In early Summer 2012, Lyndsay formed a newly band to accompany her during live performances as session musicians were they have been undergoing rehearsals and have already performed live at various of local events such as The Farsons Great Beer Festival, The Beland Music Festival, Live Music at Surfside and Rookies to mention a few. Amongst a number of music projects, Lyndsay also had the opportunity to team up with Malta-based Russian rapper Dimal Multimilliarsov were together they have released their tune for the summer entitled as "Let's Make It Happen", a collaborative effort that blends Dimal's rapping skills and Lyndsay's melodic vocals with pulsating beats fashioned from the same cloth that drapes contemporary dance production all over the place, capturing the spirit of the duo up-tempo track whilst topping the local and international radio charts at fairly high positions including Malta's Top 10 Charts on 89.7 Bay, followed by the release of an animated music video. With so much to offer, Lyndsay continuously tries her upmost to represent herself in the best possible way with qualities which are summoned through power and courage. There is an ambition, one to contain the excitement and perform in the most suitable standard, bringing out a diverse music taste in the industry. She hopes that in due time, she can set her foot abroad, to reach her dreams of becoming an established artist. -Marc Calleja Bayliss <style type="text/css"> { Layout Code Generated/Edited with MySpaceLayoutSupport.com/profile-editor/ -- Use the PROFILE EDITOR to Customize Your Layout } { Background Properties } table, tr, td { background-color:transparent; border:none; border-width:0;} body { background-color:200000; background-image:url('http://www.myspacelayoutsupport.com/myspace-backgrounds/images/red-grunge.jpg'); background-attachment:fixed; background-position:bottom left; background-repeat:no-repeat; border-width:0px; border-color:none; border-style:solid; padding-left:0px; padding-right:0px; } { Table Properties } table table {border: 0px;;} table table table table{border:0px;} table, tr, td { background-color:transparent; border:none; border-width:0;} table table table { border-style:solid; border-width:1px; border-color:666666; background-color:none; } table table td font {border-style:; border-width:; border-color:; background-color:; padding-top:2px; padding-bottom:2px; padding-left:5px; padding-right:5px; font-size: !important; color:cccccc !important;} table table td font a {font-size: !important;} table table table table td {filter:none;} { Text Properties } .nametext {font-family:Trebuchet MS !important; font-size:14px !important; color:ffffff !important; font-weight:bold; font-style:normal; letter-spacing:normal !important; line-height:normal;text-transform:normal;} .whitetext12 {font-family:Trebuchet MS !important; font-size:14px !important; color:ffffff !important; font-weight:bold; font-style:normal; letter-spacing:normal !important; line-height:normal;text-transform:normal;} .btext, .orangetext15 {font-family:Trebuchet MS !important; font-size:14px !important; color:ffffff !important; font-weight:bold; font-style:normal; letter-spacing:normal !important; line-height:normal;text-transform:normal;} .blacktext10, .blacktext11, .lightbluetext8 {font-family:Trebuchet MS !important; font-size: !important; color:cccccc !important; font-weight:bold; font-style:normal; letter-spacing:normal !important; line-height:normal;text-transform:normal;} table, tr, td, li, p, div, .blacktext12, .text, .redtext, .redbtext {font-family:Trebuchet MS !important; font-size: !important; color:cccccc !important; letter-spacing:normal !important; text-transform:normal;} { Link Properties } a:active, a:visited, a:link {font-family:Trebuchet MS !important; font-size: !important; color:cccccc !important; font-weight:normal; font-style:normal; letter-spacing:normal !important; text-transform:normal;} a:hover {font-family:Trebuchet MS !important; font-size: !important; color:ffffff !important; font-weight:normal; font-style:normal; letter-spacing:normal !important; text-transform:normal;} { Tweaks } { Contact Table } .contactTable {width:300px!important; height:150px!important; padding:0px!important; background-image:url('http://www.myspacelayoutsupport.com/myspace-contact-tables/images/red-grunge-contact.jpg'); background-attachment:scroll; background-position:center center; background-repeat:no-repeat; background-color:transparent;} .contactTable table, table.contactTable td {padding:0px !important; border:0px; background-color:transparent; background-image:none;} .contactTable a img {visibility:hidden; border:0px!important;} .contactTable .text {font-size:1px!important;} .contactTable .whitetext12 {display:none;} .contactTable .text, .contactTable img {filter:none!important;} .contactTable a {display:block; height:29px; width:115px;} { Extended Network Banner } table table table td {vertical-align:top !
