I love it all musically. I would have to settle for top influences being Carole King, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Shawn Colvin, The Eagles, Gary Burr, Victoria Shaw, Beth Neilson Chapman, Margaret Becker, Shelby Lynne, and last but not least Peirce Pettis. I love great writers! All of these folks posses that gift.

This new collection of songs stems from personal experiences that I have found to touch a deeper chord than I ever expected. All of the songs off the new album are ones that connected at writer nights. Conversations with total strangers about how they related to each song really spurred the album on.
