LYNFIELD is the Rock project of multi-faceted singer-songwriter DAVID "The Deebo" HART. Sustained with the enthusiastic efforts of a number of talented musicians including: Paul Matthew Hart, Aaron Jacobsen, Peter Benjamin, Steve White and Jonathan "Grom" Bardsley, and making the most of the opportunity to work with studio legends: Anthony King, Ali Staton and Steve Roberts.
Having worked previously with pop acts like Daniel Bedingfield and Lionel Richie, DAVID needed an outlet for his 'nighter'-side, and LYNFIELD provided the appropriate vessel.
DAVID has toured, with LYNFIELD, around London and the South-East of England, rocking classic venues including The Metro, Water Rats, The Marquee and The Horn, working the songs over live, to discover the soul of each, before heading to the studio to record thirteen tracks for the upcoming LYNFIELD Album: 'Questions, Answers, Arguments'.
The LYNFIELD sound is unique. Each song stands on its own stylistically, while yet remaining distinctly related to its neighbours. This keeps LYNFIELD honest and self-examined and difficult to pigeon-hole while unashamedly proclaiming DAVID's vast range of musical influences. Listen to each song and you will feel welcomed and challenged.
As a project LYNFIELD is a juxtaposition of DAVID HART (and his collaborators) but decidedly free from any potential competition of sounds and images. You can feel a LYNFIELD song, and you can think about it, but you will definitely keep it roving around your head for days afterwards... and you won't mind at all.
