Making and Listening to Electronic Music
Cooking
I'm a huge Food Network freak. Out of all the "Celebrity Chefs" I love Alton Brown the most. The most geeky of the kitchen geeks. He could take Bobby Flay, Emeril and Jamie Oliver in any cook off, any kitchen, any time with one whisk behind his back!
Music
Rock
Gotta say that my favorite Rock music is Meatloaf. But more specifically, I'm in love with Jim Steinman. I'm in love with his lyrics. When I was 13 years old, I thought I was in love with Celine Dion's music because of her song, It's All Coming Back to Me Now from her album Falling Into You. Later on, when I began listening to Meatloaf, I researched the song to discover that it was written by Jim Steinman. Don't believe there's a link between Celine Dion and Meatloaf? Check out Mrs. Dion's Website. Scroll to the bottom of the page, and you'll find that the song was indeed written by Jim Steinman. Only that Rock God could possibly make Celine Dion's music bareable.
Electronic
Cosmicity, Red Flag, Raindancer, VNV, Ayria, Flutter, Freezepop, Apoptygma Berzerk, Epsilon Minus, Depeche Mode, Fischerspooner, Iris and I'm sure many more I can't think of now.
Soundtracks
Moulin Rouge, Evita, The Long Kiss Goodnight, The Fifth Element, The King and I, The Phantom of the Opera, Ranma 1/2, Initial D and many more.

I work for a public radio station in Baltimore, MD. The work takes almost all of my time, but the very little time I have I usually spend with my husband.
Sorry boys, I'm married. :-) It will be four years in July 08. He is an art professor for a college in Westminster, MD. He also has no time, but what little time he does have is split between myself and X-Box 360.
I used to live in Japan. It was cool. I study Japanese in my spare time and hope to be able to travel back to Nihon someday.
Who I'd like to meet: Anyone interesting is fine. And not interesting in the "I make snuff films" kind of way. If you're interested in Japan, talk to me. If you like electronic music, talk to me. If you like Harry Potter, and are a bit older than 12, talk to me. If you like fanfiction, talk to me. If you like reading fiction, fantasy or the like, talk to me. If you do any writing, talk to me.
Seriously, if you would like to be a beta reader for my writing and/or would like someone to beta read for you, talk to me!!!!!!
Hey, Holy Tap Dancin' Baby Jesus is about right. I've recently started bringing it out in the open, so I don't want you to feel too let down. The doctor's have been predicting Dec. 25th (nuts right?), but come Aug. 7th, I'll have a more precise date. That's really the only thing (albeit HUGE) that's been going on with me lately. How are things on your guys' side of the country? I told Willie that I'll have to give you guys a call soon, it might be sometime next week.
