Bio
Lynnay, a North Jersey native, grew up amid a flourishing music scene. She started her first punk band at age 14. At the age of 18 she was playing regular shows with her melodic hardcore band "Always..but Never." By 2003 she decided to go to school for audio engineering at the SAE Institute in NYC. After graduating she moved to Philadelphia, and over the next four years she performed open mics and played shows with her band "Vices of Vanity." Landing in Atlanta, Georgia in late 2009, and after experimenting with a few bands, she decided to go solo. As of right now she writes and records all of her music. She is working with multiple producers in the Atlanta area to record and tighten up her sound for professional release. Lynnay's style is an eclectic combination of rock, classical, electronic, new wave, motown, and punk fused together. Lifelong inspirations weave through her music to produce a melodic roller coaster of sounds with lyrics that send a true message. Influences include: Pat Benatar, Joan Jett, Etta James, Bessie Smith, No Doubt, Social Distortion, Bjork, The Refused, Florence + the Machine (just to name a few)
