I am an award winning saxophonist, composer, band-leader, and educator available for concerts, commissions and clinics. These excerpts are from a performance of my quintet at the 2005 Jazz in the Sangres Festival in Colorado. Most of the compositions are mine, but the first is Beattitudes by Bobby Watson.
Here is a mainstream example of my playing, performing the Coltrane arrangement of Summertime at Cherokee Ranch and Castle Performing Arts Series with pianist Eric Gunnison, bassist Ken Walker and drummer Mike Marlier.
