Me and my 12 string Breedlove

Me playing a Native American style flute that I made.
I spent 2 years learning to make these things by trial and
error. I gathered pics and little bits and pieces of
construction information online through message boards and such.
There wasn't much info about making the NAF at that time.
I wound up with some pretty great flutes and sold several.
I plan on getting back into making them soon.

This flute won me Best in Show in the woodworking category
at our local yearly festival. It's made from western red cedar and is in the key of F#.

Favorites: Melissa Etheridge, John Lennon, John Denver, Rory Block, Seal, Loretta Lynn, Judy Garland, Sugarland, The Wreckers, Little Big Town, Emerson Lake and Palmer, America, Willy Nelson,Doc Watson, Bob Dylan,Robert Johnson, Soundtrack from Queen of The Damned, Hank Williams, The Beatles,*especially John Lennon*, Korn,Led Zeppelin Elvis Presley, Dolly Parton etc... VERY wide range.lol I also love the Native American flute and the wonderful music it makes. I also make them.

------------------ US Navy veteran. Been married to the same great guy for 28 years. We have two great kids. Oldest is serving in the Army and the youngest is a junior in high school, has a job and is never home anymore.
Now that my kids are grown and I have more time to myself, I have more time for the guitar. I'm here to find friends who also play the acoustic guitar. It doesn't matter if you are a beginner, a professional or just interested in playing. I just love to play.

I love ALL kinds of music and musical instruments. I have learned to play several instruments in my lifetime. My favorites are the Native American flute, the harmonica and the acoustic guitar. Hi Teresa...my multi-talented friend. I drop by to check out your page. I see you made some changes. It is very nice. I love your You Tube videos an music. I would love to hear the flute if you put it up sometime. Keep up the good music. I love your nice guitars. My son has a couple accoustic an a couple electrics. He uses a Les Paul,but wants a Strat now. we are never satisfied:)
