Though I know I’m wrong, trying to rush things along, I get mad when outcomes are incomplete. The purpose I serve is much more than my own, And Nature’s clock ticks much slower than mine. I can gripe and pout or just wait the thing out, For the Most High works on It’s own time. I can have love, prosperity, and peace And all the things that make it joyful to live. I must free up my psychological arms To make space for better things to come I should dispose of the junk from the past And seek the source where all natural treasures come from. We are the wardens of the prison in our minds Condemned by guilt, regret and sorrow, But I stay at peace, when I learn to release- Yesterday, and appreciate the hope of tomorrow!
