Greetings all,
My name is Cheryl Lynn and I'm a violinist, guitarist and vocalist in the Chicagoland area. Though music has always been a big part of my life (early interests were comprised of Depeche Mode, Ministry, Nine Inch Nails, Tori Amos, and Digable Planets c/o my brother and sisters) I didn't start creating my own music until I was about 17 years old. My mother had bought me my first guitar around that time and I was slowly losing interest in playing the violin (which I've been playing since I was 10 years old). Learning to play the guitar allowed me to find my voice. All of my songs are personal to me and I hope that, in some way, they reach out to the listener and become a part of them.
To all that give my music a chance, I hope you like what you hear. If you don't I would hope that you keep your criticism constructive. Pass my name along to anyone you think might dig my tunes. Never be afraid to drop me a line about music or whatever else you might want to discuss.
Best Regards,
Cheryl Lynn
