About me: Rev. Lynwood Wells is a Newport News native, who grew up at Hilton Baptist Church and is a graduate of Warwick High School ('73) He then attended Oral Roberts University, Tulsa. OK where he graduated with degrees in Theology and Communications. He continued at ORU with his graduate studies in the Masters in Theology program, while teaching on the undergraduate level as a Graduate Fellow scholarship recipient. He later also received his Juris Doctorate in Law as a member of the Charter Class of Regent University School of Law. Lynwood has enjoyed successful practices in law in OK and VA, served as pastor of Calvary Temple, Allentown, PA and Administrator of Allentown Christian School,(1987-1992), worked as Executive Producer for the Oral Roberts Television Ministries, and traveled extensively in the US and Internationally in evangelistic and mission outreaches affiliated with the Oral Roberts Ministries. Lynwood returned in 1999 to his home church as a member, and was then later called to become Senior Pastor (200). Lynwood is single, and currently a resident of Hampton, Virginia. He has 2 cats, "Starsky" and "Hutch."
