About me:
I am a genuine over the hill hippie chic! Nowadays, kids are grown and gone, I live in the frozen tundra of Green Bay, WI, a few blocks from Lambeau Field, with my family of furkids. Am a news, political, graphics, health literacy, advocacy, and animal junkie! I advocate for causes far and wide...from liberal politics, women's rights, animal rights....to the green movement, and health issues. I am very strong liberal Democrat, and being disabled/homebound and seriously ill, it means I must live online in order to accomplish any and all advocacy. I used to do animal rescue, and it seems I still gather animals as though I were magnitzed! I have 10 cats, a support dog ( Chinese Crested Powderpuff ) named Killy, and two parakeets! ( Just in case it isn't loud enough around here!! :>D ) And....I adore, cherish, am in awe of, LOVE ....and miss my grandchildren VERY much. They really are the two shining spots in this life of mine. And to my guardian angel ( you know who you are!) , you make life bearable right now. Bless you with all the prayers this little soul can muster.

One of my greatest interests in politics. I am a liberal democrat, am ecstatic about our new President, and looking forward to the next 4 years of doing things OUR way! Besides, he could never do things any worse than our present administration! Other political interests are pro-choice, legalization of marijuana, and some type of national health care insurance, among many.

Oh...music! What would I do without it? Angry? Turn on something loud, metal and scream right along. Depressed? Leona L:ewis always makes me feel better. Or Fiona Apple, K.D. Lang or Norah Jones Happy? Try Weezer, or Barenaked Ladies! Wanna be nostalgic? ACDC, Nazareth. There's music for every mood, every feeling! One MUST have music in their lives. I thank my daughter for periodically reminding me of that! I have very eclectic musical taste: Love the new alternative, classic rock will never be old, and in the right mood, ambient/new age (Kitaro, Enya, Celtic...). But I also have ( and don't laugh) a love for old Patsy Cline, and "some" country rock, Nasal country, and most Rap turns me off quickly. ALthough , there is "some" rap I can actually say I like....like Lady Sovereign. Go figure!
