Born in 1977, in Mozambique, Alexandre Pires returned to his parents homeland, Portugal, in the early 80's. Being music his passion from the beggining, started having music lessons at 6.. Choosing the electric guitar as his favourite instrument, he created an original, instrumental rock band called "Amnesia", Wich lasted for more then a decade.. In the early 90's, he's exposed to the electronic dance scene as it starts appearing in Portugal.. Being there from the beggining, first in techno partys and then with the arrival of psychedelic trance, he really starts developing a passion, not only for the music, but also for all the philosophy behind this kind of events..
Taking a 180 degree turn from rock to electronic, he has became an active part of the Portuguese dance movement since then. As a clubber, as a party promoter, and finally as a Dj. Developing his technique for quite some years, Dj Lynx is allready an established Dj, with eclectic taste in music and superb technical skills, with sets that go from Minimal Techno to Tech House, and even some Progressive, Lynx really knows how to please a crowd. Being a part of FreshBreak Audioevents & Spark Agency, as a Dj & promoter.

Nascido em 1977, em Moçambique, Alexandre Pires regressa á terra natal de seus pais, Portugal, no inicio dos anos 80.. Sendo a música a sua grande paixão desde o principio.. inicia a sua educação musical aos 6 anos de idade, escolhendo mais tarde a guitarra eléctrica como o seu instrumento de eleição.. Forma então uma banda de originais de rock instrumental, de seu nome "Amnésia", projecto que dura mais de uma década.. No principio dos anos 90, com a chegada da música electrónica a Portugal, e estando lá desde o inicio, nas primeiras festas de techno e Trance Psicadélico, começa a desenvolver uma paixão, não só pela música em si, mas também por toda a filosofia por detrás destes eventos.. Dando uma volta de 180º do Rock para a Música Electrónica, tornou-se uma parte activa do movimento dance em Portugal, primeiro promovendo eventos, e depois, desenvolvendo a sua técnica por muitos anos, finalmente como Dj. Com um gosto músical bastante eclético, fabulosa técnica de mistura e leitura de pista, Com sets que vão desde o Techno Minimal, passando pelo Tech House e chegando mesmo ao Trance Progressivo, Dj Lynx sabe realmente agradar a qualquer pista. Fazendo também parte da Freshbreak AudioEvents e Spark Agency, Dj Lynx é um nome a não esquecer !!!
