'Kaum zu fuzzen: Ein Gitarreneffekt und ein paar alte Platten reichen Lynx Lynx aus Dortmund um daraus ein kleines, aber feines Garagen-Blues-Debüt zu stricken. Selbstverständlich wurde das Debüt This Tribe of Yours gemeinsam live eingespielt. Die puristische Haltung passt dabei sehr sehr gut zu dem trockenen Rumpelsound, den sich die Band bei den Protopunks von MC5 und The Stooges und beim Garagen-Revival zu Beginn der 80er Jahre abgeguckt hat. Keine Frage: da ist weniger Pop in diesem handgemachten Debüt, das sich oft kratzbürstig gibt und dann wieder mit roten Augen durch einen hindurchsieht.'
