About me.... Hmm... Well, you could always go here... http://www.myspace.com/thelyons , or I could blather on a bit.
I’m a professional guitarist / songwriter living in South Florida, which could quite possibly the musical armpit of the universe. I just thought I’d put up a page for myself, and so my friends can hear my tunes. I’m not trying to pitch myself as a solo artist, because I’m not. Anyhow, I’ll be putting up showdates for my band, B Liminal, and you should check us out... we kick ass.
I believe that I was given the gift to be a damn good songwriter, and I don’t think I was given that gift to keep it all to myself. Musicians have the ability to touch people, not control people, like some "artists" seem to think. We are here to help. We help ourselves by writing it all down, and then help other people by letting them know, "hey, we all got problems, and you’re not alone."
Oh, if you plan on adding me as a friend, send me an message first. I get about 10 new friend requests a day and I pretty much deny ’em all. If I personally know you, or if you’re somone who comes out to our shows, I’ll add you. If not, well, you better have a good reason to add me to your list, otherwise, you’ll be denied.

Just a quick heads-up about our CD Release Party tomorrow: Atlantic Avenue is going to be closed because of some huge festival, but you can click below for some directions to get you around it and to The Hurricane! See you there!

In 1930, the Republican-controlled House of Representatives, in an effort to alleviate the effects of the... Anyone? Anyone?... the Great Depression, passed the... Anyone? Anyone? The tariff bill? The Hawley-Smoot Tariff Act? Which, anyone? Raised or lowered?... raised tariffs, in an effort to collect more revenue for the federal government. Did it work? Anyone? Anyone know the effects? It did not work, and the United States sank deeper into the Great Depression. Today we have a similar debate over this. Anyone know what this is? Class? Anyone? Anyone? Anyone seen this before? The Laffer Curve. Anyone know what this says? It says that at this point on the revenue curve, you will get exactly the same amount of revenue as at this point. This is very controversial. Does anyone know what Vice President Bush called this in 1980? Anyone? Something-d-o-o economics. "Voodoo" economics.
We wishes Mr. Mike was not freezing in Canada! Missed you last night but Summer represented. Makes me SMILE so BIG to see the pics from Europe still up. That trip meant a lot to me. I was soooo glad you were there; wouldn't have been the same without you. Love you-Mean it, Pal-O-Mine!
Hey you! How the hell are ya?! I heard through the grape vine (my better half) that things are fantastic on your end. We should get together soon... I know you are a busy boy but still... :-)
