I write erotic romance.
(Lyra, what's an erotic romance?)
It's like a traditional romance novel, with heroes and heroines, forces that try to keep them apart and love eventually triumphing over all. But there's no discrete drawing of the curtains when things get steamy; every explicit detail is covered. Or, rather, uncovered! Erotic romance isn't for the faint of heart or anyone who's underage. But if you love romance and want a little more, come see what we've got to share!
My first Erotic Romance, "Thirteen Silver Moons", was released by Loose-Id in December, 2007.
My first BDSM novella, "The Flavor of Summer", was released by Loose Id in August. 2008.
I just found out that "Flavor of Summer" is a finalist in the 2009 EPPIE awards in the Contemporary Erotic Romance Category. The winners will be announced on March 5 in Las Vegas.
AND -- I've signed a contract for a Loose Id Fling -- a short story called "First Taste", which is a sequel to "Flavor".
My short story, "Solstice Night", will appear in "Dream by the Fire: Winter Magic" from Freya's Bower, also available in December.
I have just created my first website, LyraMarlowe.com, and am now learning the wonders of MySpace.
Please be patient -- it will get better!
My favorite quote:
