Danny Ladwa AKA ‘LyrikooL Lipz’, originally from Bramcote in Nottingham, has been working as a versatile vocal-musician for the past 7 years. Beatboxing, rapping and singing are all elements of his full live show where he will use a looping pedal to create live samples/loops of his voice to perform entirely original material all solely with the use of his mouth, much of which is improvised. Singing and rapping from a younger age, Danny found himself creating beats with his voice when he was around 17. It went from annoying-habit to party-trick to possible UK Beatbox Champion 2007.
LyrikooL Lipz won the midlands-heat in the 2007 Human Beatbox Championships.
He’s also played alongside ‘Afrika Bambaataa’ and his son ‘MC TC Izlam’ in the Amazon Rainforest, Brazil at the Ecosystem Festival’. For 2 years running he has performed with ‘Gaudi Live Dub Laboratory’ at ‘the Glade Festival' and finds himself working with more and more new and exciting projects including fusions with dance, theatre, art-installations and film. LyrikooL Lipz has been a highlight at ‘the Edinburgh Festival’ for the past 4 years alongside his younger cousin 'Lippicool'. He has performed at Glastonbury, Brighton Hip Hop Festival, Streets of Brighton Festival, The Spiegeltent, Barbados, Australia, Canada, the Netherlands, Israel , Ireland, India in various venues, pubs, clubs, bars, cafes, churches, beaches, streets, theatres and plans to do lots more.
LyrikooL Lipz has been broadcast live on radio stations such as ‘BBC Radio Nottingham’, ‘Juice Fm’, ‘BBC Asian Network’ with ‘The Foreign Beggars’, ‘Festival Fm’, ‘Flirt Fm’ (Ireland) and has performed live on BBC’s Children In Need in November 2006.

Ben (Brown/Unpopular) i like all the tracks. my favourites of real thang are the original and toms mix - especially like the rudebwoy b-line and old style beats of the TSI mix.my favourite of the whole release is programming - i think mostly cos of the samples and the way they are arranged. its good fun.
Mike (Kolour): sch's original broke new ground for these guy's sound. it has a nice disco vibe that works really well in the mix. i've been playing it since john sent it moons ago. the mastering on it came out perfect too. really brings the tune to life.damien's remix features more of the vocal and that's never a bad thing as far as i'm concerned. he churned out yet another remix where he takes the original tune and makes it his own. this is definitely something i'll play tom's remix is definitely a departure from the other two versions. he adds a level of filth to it that contrasts the dynamic of the EP just enough to give it that 'something for everyone' feel.
Quell: I LOVED Damien's old/new school remix and the original version of that track and i really like Toms 'programming' track.
