Lysis is a five-piece metal band from Lahr/Schwarzwald. The original lineup found together in 2006 and played the first show in early 2007. The band soon became known for their powerful and intense liveshows and played several shows in Baden-Württemberg, Eastern Germany and Switzerland.
Drawing musical influences from several styles of oldschool metal and newschool metalcore, they do not care about genres but aim to create a heavy, energetic yet melodic sound that just kicks your ass at any show.
To this day, Lysis has had the chance to play with bands such as Machinemade God, Narziss, Crisis Never Ends, Excrementory Grindfuckers, Undertow, Inane, Baal and many more.
In April 2008, the band has released their first EP titled “Illusion of Sunset” on their own. Recorded in their hometown Lahr in the Neuwerk 13 Studios the EP features eight tracks and more than half an hour of powerful modern metal. Shortly after the release some lineupchanges could not be avoided but with a new guitarist the band reemerged even stronger. Anyway, this was just the beginning…be prepared for some heavy new stuff in the near future!

Hey Jungs! wir sind schon gespannt auf Eure neuen Aufnahmen! Wäre echt super wenn wir dieses Jahr wiedermal was zusammen machen könnten! Wir sind auch gerade am Konzerte organisieren, mal schauen was sich so ergibt. Falls wir was haben, was wir zusammen machen könnten, werden wir uns auf jeden Fall wieder bei Euch melden! Einen Tag zuvor ist ein fettes Konzert in Münchberg mit Blessed by a Ghost und Bandage for my Bleeding! Da könnt ihr euch Warmtanzen für die Releaseparty!
das liegt daran das ich ihn erst letzt hochgeladen hab.guten rutsch euch!!!und ich muss euch schon wieder beichten dass ich an der kessel show nicht dabei sein kann :( aufgrund eines eigenen konzertes in freiburg.hoffe ihr kommt gut voran mit dem recorden!gruß attila
