I'm a writer born and raised in Southern California: third generation, in fact, although the roots of the family go back to the 1850's when the Cadds first came from Wales by way of Australia and helped found San Bernardino. I'm wading into my third decade of marriage and glad I'm over the hump of the 40th birthday at last! I've got a couple of teenage girls that fill me with obscene amounts of pride, with one graduated and looking forward to college and the other doing a three-year high school plan. I'm working on a mystery novel, but thinking about switching focus from novels to screenplays since dialogue is my ultimate strength. I'm still publishing my fanfics under the name NightsDawne, even if there's no money in that. I'm a video game addict, favoring the Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors series and Mercenaries. I enjoy the mindless killing of pixels. I'm bipolar, so I need violent outlets I won't be arrested for. When I want to get my zen on, I go for budokon, and I need a lot of zen while I wait for new episodes of Torchwood and Chuck. I'm also a music fan with eclectic tastes, ranging from punk to blues to industrial to celtic. If it's good I'll listen to it, so feel free to ask me to give your stuff a listen even if it's not comparable to anything in my favorites list.
