Networking

  • I currently have seven feature acting credits acknowledged by the IMDB, a couple that they haven't accepted, plus some shorts and a music video. I can change my look quite radically when the need arises, and do a variety of accents.

  • I sold my first screenplay to Roger Corman right out of college, and am still waiting for someone to buy another one.

  • I'm an L.A. Press Club Award-winning, nationally syndicated film critic, and work freelance, so I always welcome new employers.

About me:

BEFORE YOU ADD ME, PLEASE NOTE: I only add four kinds of people -- actual friends and acquaintances, people or groups/movies I'm a fan of, people who are fans of something I've done, and people who might want to date me. If you're not one of those, become one before adding me; I can always use more real-life friends.

WRITING: I am a screenwriter with several scripts available for option, and have been a staff writer/media critic in print journalism. My blog at LYTrules.com has won two Press Club runner-up awards.

ACTING: I have appeared in more than ten feature films, most notably Zach Passero's WICKED LAKE, Gregory Hatanaka's MAD COWGIRL and Chris Sivertson's THE LOST, working opposite the likes of Angela Bettis (MAY), Walter Koenig (STAR TREK, BABYLON 5), Marc Senter (THE LOST, CABIN FEVER 2), Eddie Steeples (MY NAME IS EARL), Will Keenan (TROMEO AND JULIET), Vernon Wells (THE ROAD WARRIOR), and Lucky McKee (ROMAN). Not union as of yet, but am must-join immediately on my next union shoot, which I'm happy to do.

DIRECTING: I was an A.D. on MAD COWGIRL, am working on an experimental feature called PAIN AND SUFFERING, and have directed 11 original shorts featuring my character Jasper Boring that can be seen on Youtube, or right here on myspace

LIFE: In addition to looking for work, I'm still looking for love. Damn hard thing to find.

Everyone's into justifying their Top 8 choices, it seems...so lemme just say that I recently switched from it being good friends to making sure that all 8 were projects or persons I wish to pimp that either involve me or someone equally deserving.
