Moto Mayhem Returns to Oran Park Raceway in 2008:
After last years successful running of the Western QBE Moto Mayhem at Oran Park Raceway (Narellan, NSW), Mark Avard and ASM Promotions are excited to confirm that on Sunday, February 24th 2008 that they will be holding this awesome event with even more action then last years Western QBE Moto Mayhem, which will once again to be held at Oran Park Raceway. “Due to the success of the first 2 wheel Moto Mayhem, we have all the Top Aussie riders keen to put on another great show, so why Not? It is great to see the riders from all the different forms of competition join together to thrill the crowds”. stated Avard
With addition of the Evolution Natural Terrain Moto-X event with Modern Quad bikes, Scooter Road Racing and a world record backflip distance jump from USA PIT BIKE Rider TJ Russell the 2008 version of last years spectacular event is sure to please all ages, the Western QBE Moto Mayhem event area’s will be more compact for better veiwing and less travel between events.
As last years event schedule of 1 PRO event hour per facet, we are adopting the similar schedule, so events will run all day however we will schedule 1 PRO rider hour or FINALS per event so spectators can catch the best riders in every event.(schedule available shortly).
The Morning will host Pit Bike MX, Enduro-x and Moto-X on the eastern side of Oran Park on the main Moto-X course, then after lunch the remainder of events. Lucky gate prize Stage and other events Moto Trials, Freestyle MX( FMX), EVO Moto-X in the Rally Track area and with Supermoto, Scooter racing and finish with Stunt Riders on the North Circuit.
Event organiser, Mark Avard, is very much enthusiastic about the running of many more events of this kind. Just to bring so many different forms of Motorcycle competition into one place on the one day has been great and has a great future.
Media Exposure has already started with Blokes World and MXTV confirmed with highlights DVD again to be released as a FOC cover-mount on Dirt Action Magazine
We are running all the popular events and added more for the 2008 Western QBE Moto Mayhem and setting up the event all for better access and less moving around on the day. The morning features will be on the East side and the afternoon Features on the West side of the venue, for greater viewing over much more confined area so it will be very easy to view a number of events on the day without moving around very far. We will have all the activities such as jumping Castles and some other added festivities, and still run the popular Mini Bike Draw as a Lucky gate Prize.”
We also have MUSIC planned with a battle of the local bands playing on Family Hill all day, along with the possibility of a WA band XTORYA who have had their music being featured in: FreeriderMX's behind Bars DVD (2007), Dirt Actions 2008 DVD release, Push Kiting DVD (UK, 2008), Rapid Bikes 2008 DVD and LOAM 2 (late 2007)
