RAFALE RECORDS ALL RELEASES

Been producing drum and bass since 2001, started out catching a rave tape and
have been hooked by the vibe ever since.

Had tunes played on internet radio station pulse, along with plays on local part time
fm station FUTURE RADIO.

The highlight so far though has been winning RADIO 1 EXTRA'S CUTTING ROOM
COMP. in december 2004 with the tune "LOVE SONG" and speaking to the man himself,
L Double, and also, recently, getting in the unsigned review section of KNOWLEDGE
MAGAZINE in the dec06/jan07 issue. also enjoy djing and have been doing this since
about 2000/01.

BIO:

At the beginning, (In 90's) a very united friends crew of teenagers decide to make a skateboard clothing brand called "M16 productions".2 years after, in the end of 1999, Alex Buatois aka Dj Berlu work and learn about the hardware from his big brother. ( Atari with cubase of the year 1984 edition and sampler akai s2000 was explosive blend) and he release his first jungle tracks (No fear, database..) because he have growing passion for this musical style after having listen to much hard rock and hip hop and same after having written hip hop with a very little means in pratical difficult.When he discover Cubase software and the sampler of today, it was a revelation and opportunity to release the track from his dreams! But he have leaning for the real discs called "vinyl" ,of course, debute the mix and buy respective two turntables of a real dj.
It's like that he initiate the rest of his crew to djing and the things happens, today almost the crew compose his own tracks but it doesn't matter, Berlu the social victim stay the leader in drum+bass production.

In 2000, Berlu meet english people who have a nightclub in "Les 2 alpes" where he live and organise some amazing DNB partys together. The time is come for them to organise a french free partys and they construct and bought their own fat wiring for sound. After a lot of partys and with the people they meet during this time, like 'Fabio" (a wanted promoter in france) they organise one of the biggest rave in france like : Transeruption, Euphoria-madness...and give to them the lucky to play with notorious artists like Crystal Distortion, Jeff23, Elisa do Brazil, Radiobomb, Boucles Etranges, Banditos...and become credible producers for their public.

After any years, in 2005, Berlu undertakes to create his own electronic label "Rafale records" with some eclectic releases like "La Sphere EP" (RFL01>www.toolboxrecords.com)

But now, Dj Berlu work actively in his recent home studio with solid hardware & software, under a name of "Social victim", to be able to release some hot dancefloor tunes destined to the drum+bass world. It will be made thing with his last productions like "Airwolf EP" and "Lyrical rush" or again the superb remix of "The Roof Is On Fire" and "Wanabee" (Ft. KT Tunstall) release in 12inch on Rafale records.(www.juno.co.uk).

With his project, Social victim is much respected and called "the drum+bass ambassador of the Alps" !!!

Since, the label arrives has to clear a passage to the right in the middle of the leaders of the style and is made a high place on download centers and notorious records stores like BEATPORT, TRACKITDOWN or again JUNO UK & TOOLBOX...

And for 2008, thanx to everyone support M16 prod. & Rafale rec. and the saga of bassline's earthquake continue !!!
