   About Mission Mountain Wood Band
"When the 'Wood Band' emerged, our society, even in Montana, was fragmenting, young versus old, hippies versus straights, environmentalists versus developers, with music splintering along with the culture: Santana versus the Lettermen, if you will. And here came this band, hailing from the four corners of Montana, melding rock, blues, bluegrass, barbershop, show tunes . . . the Mickey Mouse theme . . . and the National Anthem . . . all in four-part harmony. It was like radio used to be, creative, surprising, romantic, energizing. Their audience was as eclectic as their music; bankers, bikers, lawyers, loggers, jocks, artists, hippies, farm kids, greeks, geeks, professors and dropouts. Unlike the prevailing musical stage attitude of the day, which was to riff endlessly in some psychedelic trance off behind the speakers, Mission Mountain hit the stage in a detonation of energy and personality and built a show over the course of the night-- in a non-stop continuum--from a low boil to a house fire and burnt us all up in the blaze. With propulsive guitar, drum, banjo, bass, fiddle and roguish joie de vivre', they blew apart the generation and culture gaps in their audience everywhere they went, coalescing us, with their musical and rhythmic bravado, reverence for tradition and irreverence for cliche', into a vast and enduring tribe of uplifted spirits. -Mark Staples, Oct., 2005 Attorney, Musician, Songwriter

The show in Libby was a good one. I would have preferred you guys to be the main act. Aeromyth was amusing but just didn't make me feel the way you do. Got a few good laughs from some of the new stuff though. Thanks, when is the Arber day kegger here in Missoula? Many years ago one of my good friends went to the first kegger. He skipped school to go and someone filmed him doing a keg stand and put it on the news so when he got home his mom had already seen the footage. Pretty funny if you ask me guess you cant get away with anything. Well I hope you guys are having a great week.

CountryHome Forum, http://groups.myspace.com/CountryHomeMagazine , is one of the biggest Forum for country music in Europe and part of CountryHome, www.countryhome.de , Germany's Premier Online Country Music Magazine.

CountryHome Forum have more than 5,800 members. Each news you submit to CountryHome Forum will released to my weekly Newsletter with more than 60,000 readers.

Please submit your artist news and events to CountryHome Forum to help your artists to get well known better in Europe. If you do not have the time to submit your artist news and events by yourself, please send it me to: Ch.Lamitschka@t-online.de and I will submit them by myself to CountryHome Forum.

I know that many artists from North America don't have their music videos uploaded to German video websites. The most popular websites are MyVideo.de and ClipFish.de. That means your European audience does not have the chance to find them.

I understand that most of you don't speak German and are not able to upload videos because of the language barrier. If you would like me to upload your videos to the German video websites, please let me know.

Thanks
