M:40 is a
crust/hardcore band located in Lidköping, Sweden.
The band was formed in the fall of 2002, and after two demo
releases it was time for the debut album. "Tomma ord är
inte värda ett skit" CD was released in August 2005 on Em
Records with support by HoboRec. This album got really great
responds and reviews, it was even played in the Swedish national
radio.
During the winter of 2005/2006 M:40 got one more singer, Sebben,
which made everything sound even better. A couple of new songs
were recorded and got released on a 7" split vinyl together
with the great Swedish hardcore band grace.will.fall, released in
August (2006) by Halvfabrikat Records, Em Records and HoboRec.
With this release M:40 and grace.will fall made a couple of gigs
together , one of them was in Denmark.
A music video of the song "Innanför Muren" (taken from
the split) was recorded during the fall of 2006. The video and
the split has got some really great reviews and responds.
In February 2007 Johan F, from the Swedish grindcore band Exhale,
joins M:40 as a bass player.
The new album "Historiens svarta vingslag" was released
by Halvfabrikat Records the 7th July 2007!
