''Fourth band on the day were M48 The frontman is a natural. The harmonies were extremely good and the chemistry between the band was exceptional. With a bagful of fine toons M48 were on their way with a pacey hypnotic class rollercoaster performance which swept you along in its entirety and left you wanting more!''

''The only band I have heard that open their set with acapello vocals sung by three members of the band in close and well matched harmony. That is just one of the features of a band that plays quality music. Good vocalists backed by tight punchy rythms and strong intense beats, their songs have wide appeal. It's very enjoyable music. A set of songs that puts them out in front. M48's songs stand out - it's the way the whole thing blends together and the distinctive tone of the singers. They just pour out totally enjoyable music.
This is one of Leicester's strongest bands: from a city that is richer in talented bands than most. Three well matched voices that blend together in a finely crafted harmony, M48 know how to write a good song. It's the strength of their vocal talent combined with the energy of their rythms and the compelling melodies worked into well structured songs that puts M48 at the top of the tree.''

"Their closing song "Night on the Razz" is one of those classics that you can't get out of your head. Just the kind of song you want to join in with and play over and over when you're in need of a pick me up.
An all-age crowd of over 500 packed into the Musician tent to listen to their set and they certainly got an enthusiastic response from them."
Chris - Project Notion
''I think the band who got the best crowd and best response was M48. A great young band that's definitely going places I reckon. We saw them at SS and it was another professional set by them.''

M48 - Y Theatre - 08/05/09 - Last Time Playing Night On The Razz in the set!
M48 are a four-piece Indie/Pop band with a hint of Reggae thrown in for extra flavour ;) We have been a full band since about 2006. We are a band who love to bring sweet soundin harmonies and melodies in to the music.
We hope you enjoy what we make as much as we love to perform it!

''Despite being young and remarkably fresh-faced, M48 played like a band wise beyond their years. A short yet fun set, including some new songs, M48 were well drilled and full of character. Tight harmonies and gorgeous choruses flowed effortlessly, and watching the constant grin of lead singer Jordan, it became hard not to love this band. Its hard to see these not making it on the national touring map.''
