Dear Mabsters! Autumn is coming, and it's taking with him lots of cold... wind... romantic colors and CHANGES... BIG changes! Maybe a few of you already know... or suspect of something... or maybe someone has seen it in a dream... but something BIG has happened in MAB's house. It's me, Psycho Jeremy, talking to you my beloved... to break the news. As I founded the band with Jessica in 1996 now it is my duty to tell everybody that MAB has now been left with its original founders: ME and Jessica. This was a very hard, suffered and difficult process for all of us. We loved each other very deeply and we did many things together that we'll cherish forever. Lisa and Marina had been very laborious companions and been extremely talented musicians, they helped making MAB what has been so far, and for this we will be forever grateful and proud. Unfortunately, we had reach a point were our ways to see many things in life and music had gone in a very different direction from one another. Growing up... Different points of views... wanting different ways to organize the work... A big pile of this and more!! It is a lot of very complicated issues that we never managed to come with an agreement with. We are deeply sorry for what had happened, and like the biggest love stories that comes to an end, we are all feeling heartbroken and angry inside. This is why it took me a while before having the strength to break the news to all of you guys! In the beginning I thought there was no point in carrying on with MAB after all... but then I found myself really attached to this old lady I created so long ago... so I decided to carry on anyway. It won't be the same, of course! But we can promise we'll do the best we can to keep up with the level. So, be prepared to see many changes on our MYSPACE page in the near future! I hope you will keep supporting MAB in the same way you did and that you will find our future work interesting and of your taste. Difficult times are coming but we will go on in the best way we know. Fusion of souls in the circle of death...
Mab was born in a very stormy and cold winter night from PSYCHO JEREMY, bass and vocals, and JECKY, drums.
They spent almost two years saving money to buy their first drum kit and a guitar that PSYCHO JEREMY used to play at that time, to give birth to their dream.
Mab started playing with MARINA, guitar, and another friend (MARTINA SILLI) at the bass guitar.
So baby MAB started to challenge the world.
They learn to play for themselves, through Rock, Heavy Metal and Blues, Grunge and Opera, and they started gigging all around Sardinia (Italy).
The first demo they released was NOUGAT!, containing 13 of their songs written by PSYCHO JEREMY and arranged with the band and their former manager Michael Antonacci, which received very good reviews by local and national press. (which will be soon available to see on this website!!)
Their music was a mixture of various influences, mostly Grunge and Trash Metal.
At some point MARTINA left the band and, after a few auditions to find a new bass player, MAB ended up thinking they would never find another girl crazy enough to fill the position... so PSYCHO JEREMY started playing the bass guitar to save the day!!
That was the beginning of a deep change in their musical direction.
A new line up came in London where they met LISA, guitar.
It was just the right fusion that created their intense and haunting sound: the NEW DARK was rising.
A wicked mixture: the peaceful land of their past and the acid necrosis of a neurotic city...the fog, the chaos...
The dream and the reality.
Suffocated by love... enchained by the pain.
But the pain, oh my, at one point was too strong ... so the chain just broke... leaving some to face betrayal ... and some with a spot...
But silence won't win... and the ballad goes on... 'til the next loving fairy will knock on our door.
We all live on a swing through the dark and the light...

MAB COLLABORATED WITH THE ITALIAN ICON OF EXPERIMENTAL/POP MUSIC FRANCO BATTIATO. THEY RECORDED 3 SONG FOR HIS ALBUM IL VUOTO AT THE OLIMPIC STUDIOS IN LONDON.
AFTER THIS EXPERIENCE HE WANTED MAB TOURING WITH HIM IN THE MOST BEAUTIFUL CITIES OF ITALY and SPAIN FROM THE 5TH OF JULY TILL THE 5th OF DECEMBER.A MINI TOUR WILL RESTART IN MAY 2008.
MAB ALSO APPEARS IN THE LATEST BATTIATO MOVIE "NIENTE E' COME SEMBRA" OUT THE 24th OCTOBER 2007.

L'associazione culturale no profit Artisende vi invita sabato 27 giugno 2009 alla manifestazione di arte – musica – giochi e tradizioni dal nome “Sonos de Fogu”, per rievocare le vecchie tradizioni ozieresi. L'evento prevede diverse attività che si svolgeranno durante tutta la giornata, a partire dalla mattina per concludersi a tarda notte. Lo scopo principale di tale iniziativa e’ quello di poter dare un contributo attivo affinché tradizioni e giochi di infanzia ,praticati da molte generazioni di ozieresi, non vadano dimenticati. Durante la giornata sarà adibita una zona dedicata al mercato di prodotti artistici e artigianali e ai prodotti enogastrononici, e vi sarà una parte del boschetto dove alcuni artisti locali esporranno le loro opere pittoriche. Ma anche i più piccoli saranno coinvolti nella cornice della manifestazione:nel tardo pomeriggio, infatti, verso le 19, andrà in scena uno spettacolo condotto da artisti di strada,giocolieri e clown, che intratterranno i più piccoli nella parte del boschetto dove sono presenti i giochi.
