So, I took a walk. We went to a movie and had dinner. It was pretty nice -- the city life. But really thinking about it, it's not all squeegees and certainly not MRIs. It's more about the lesion, the lobotomy: those are what get people moving. And as for the basal ganglia, well, I'm not too sure about that either. But I know I had a great idea: I would ask people -- that is anyone -- to give me any art or writing they had done relating to a specifically broad topic or theme, like, for instance, as some like to call it and as I like to think of it, in this term specifically but that is of course not excluding and including the likelihood of suggestions of other possibilities and impossibilities: moving. Then, I would organize and compile. The zine, I figured, would be printed in its own time -- that is, whenever it seemed fully enough full. And as I was eating my dinner, I was inspired by its hollow knots of tubular something. This was, of course, my inextricable situation. Nevertheless, the name of this zine is Macaroni.
Here's an early copy of our review for "Apostles of the Apocalypse". Enjoy!
Malicious Damage - Apostles of the Apocalypse Independent - 2008
Allowing me a third crack at their wares, Malicious Damage comes back full fucking force with "Apostles of the Apocalypse". As always seen in previous albums, "Apostles of the Apocalypse" is saturated with free thinking propaganda, awesome cover art, heavy grooves and absolute brutality. What it is missing however is the manic fluctuations between genres. Malicious Damage proceeds with a straight forward heavy metal approach. If Pantera had a social conscience, they would of kicked as much ass as Malicious Damage. And if Malicious Damage would grind, they’d be Napalm Death. (Yep, they’re that fucking good!) “Apostles...” is pretty much an ode to the American government and how it’s leading the world down the shitter. (In fact, the beginning letter to each track spells out the word “government”) Lyrically, “Apostles...” is written intelligently with obvious research going into each topic. Everything from mind control (R.F.I.D.), to Totalitarianism (Totalitarian) and everything in-between is covered. Musically, this album is about as solid as you can get. The driving beats go from start to finish with some of the catchiest guitar riffs around to accompany them. And of course, Josh is still here to lead the attack with his patented “fuck the lies” roar! Wrap it all up with a pretty bow and I call it Malicious Damage’s best album to date! - :) CS E-MetalSpace.
Hey There! We've got two new recordings up. They are: "Attention" and "Crash Dive". It's some good Rock 'n Roll. Please listen to them and give us some feedback.

Take off to the countryside
In a funny stunning celebration.
Watch the morning dissolve
In quiet kindness
Like the shadow of an axe.
Memorize the disembodied wit of a flood
And hang on to a piece of bread.
If you have listened like a leash my friend,
Then you will receive milk from the Calvary
But if you allow the thirsty blushing snow traps
To pester you with savage meaninglessness
Then the unbearable gibberish you speak to yourself
Will allow laughter to crawl away with your mind
Tadpoles and tombstone fables,
Archangels who are willing and able
To show your soul to the savior inside your hole.
If you disagree with your dreams
And the ground begins to scream
Please allow enough open space to let the sky sing
Even if it means friends in the rain
They will thank you one day, I promise.
Caress the wind
As you travel the kaleidoscopic farmland.
Many thanks for the add! Considering I've moved 17 times in the last 7 years, I imagine coming up with a contribution on the theme of "moving" shouldn't be a stretch for me. I'll be in touch shortly!
In the meantime, for those of you who like to gag, 2 really awful new tracks have been uploaded at my profile! Please check em out!
