bad thai food. good choices that turned out bad. bad choices that turned out good. corn fields downtown. late night fire escape moments. the godfather II (when white turned to red). a really great book. loving to hate. hating to love. getting stuck in old paterns. have the same conversation 30 times. cartons of ice cream and boxes of cookies. ocean side trips. forest floor trips.... many a splendored thing.

It was in the sweltering heat of Sacramento that the musical genius of
eastern Canadian born Ayah Young and California native Aaron Dall
convened. Since that fateful spring in 2002 Aaron and Ayah, now known
as Maca Sadia (Portuguese for Sound Litter) have been kicking it live
in living rooms and on porches throughout northern California. Ayahs
background in jazz, choral, and elctro-funk, combined with Aarons
back-ground in blues, folk, and good old fashioned rock have produced a
unique fusion guaranteed to cause introspection and occasional
toe-tapping. Melodic, heartfelt and beautifully gritty, the music of
Maca Sadia is an engaging experience of mass appeal.

We are as forlorn as children lost in the woods...
When you stand in front of me and look at me, what do you know of the grief that is in me and what do I know of yours?
And if I were to cast myself down before you and tell you, what more would you know
about me that you know about hell when someone tells you it is hot and dreadful?...
