  • Bio

MacGuffin is a four-piece rock group from the North Side of Chicago. Expanding upon a musical collaboration nearly a decade long, members Kevin Fahey and Kevin Leonard brought in Eric Fahey and Steve Floersch to fill out the band. With musical tastes across the board, MacGuffin’s deceptively straightforward sound remains full of surprises. Local music guru and WXRT personality Richard Milne has said, “Whether it’s a vocal hook, a memorable, well-played guitar line, or any combination of things, there’s something in every song that sticks out.” In 2008, the four-piece self-produced a demo, appeared on Comcast OnDemand's “Battle of the Bands,” and was featured on WXRT’s Local Anesthetic radio show. MacGuffin is currently working on a full-length album full of exciting new material. Contact MacGuffin at macguffin.music@gmail.com, or leave us a note on the comments board. Why do you guys never play this song? Fahey's bass line is amazing. Lenny & Flo should definitely dust off those ukuleles more often.
