Macnina Infernus is currently on hold pending our drummer's recovery from a broken ankle. We had to cancel our show at Hostile City Deathfest on July 5, and right now we don't know how long it will take Cliff to recover to the point where he can play again. In the meantime, Machina Infernus is working on new material so that we may finally release a whole album instead of dribbling out 3 and 4-song EP's. Most of the songs we have now will probably be on that album, but we're hoping to have at least 4 brand new tracks, maybe 5.
Also, we're still hoping to find another guitarist to complete the sound. There's a post in the blog section that details what we're looking for. So, we have a lot that we're working on despite injuries. Fear not.
Some things don't stay dead.
In the Summer of 2005 Machina Infernus split up, and nobody ever thought that they would return. Yet, three years later, the band has reformed and rearranged into a- well- older, grayer, and slightly more obese version of their former selves.
Despite the ravages of time taking it's toll on the band, the music has improved. It has grown faster, heavier, darker, and more compelling than ever before. Vivid descriptions of various horrible fates are sung, growled, and screamed over bastardized rock & roll riffs, stitched unevenly to thrash rhyhtms, and driven by relentless, hammering percussion. Nothing is sacred and nobody is safe.
