http://www.machine-records.com http://www.bleep.com machine.records is an underground electronic music label, founded in 2001. It won 'Best Label' at the 2005 Welsh Music Awards and ran a monthly live electronica night called Terminal every month between October 2003 and September 2006. After 5 years operating from Cardiff (UK) it has now relocated to Wellington (NZ). You can sometimes hear machine.records music played by Radio 1 DJs Huw Stephens, Bethan Elfyn, Rob da Bank, and Mary Anne Hobbs, on Adam Walton's Sunday night Radio Wales show, on Radio Cymru, Resonance FM, on the British Council's The Selector, presented by Andrea Oliver, and on Another Nice Mess. Artists who make glitch, breakcore, dubstep, drill n bass, leftfield/ noisy/ experimental/really fast electronic type stuff of the sort heard on Rephlex, Planet Mu, DHR, Warp and so on. I DON'T want to meet emo/ metal/ rock bands, makers of hard trance or dark ambient soundscapes that go on for ages and ages and are so boring that you think they count as experimental.
